Australian podcast company Ranieri & Co. has announced its performance of The Byron Cooke Show, an independent podcast created by the former co-host of Fox FM’s âFifi, Fev and Byronâ.
Cooke’s podcast covers deeper topics such as the toxic culture of the entertainment industry.
Cooke said: âThe podcast is where the action is now. Leaving commercial radio to start mine was such a liberating gesture. Before signing an episode of The Byron Cooke Show, I ask myself two simple questions. 1]Would a breakfast FM radio show avoid this topic? 2]Could this conversation make a real difference to someone? If it’s a yes to both, I will!
Signing up with Ranieri and Co. is the next step in my show’s business growth, which in turn allows me to make an even bigger difference in the community.
Ranieri & Co. exclusively represents the largest independent podcast publisher in the world: Marvellous. The partnership will allow Cooke to create more content that he is deeply passionate about, alongside successful Wondery podcasts such as Business Wars, Dirty John and The Apology Line.
Commenting on the appointment, CEO Rob Ranieri said: âWe’re excited not only to create podcasts for brands, but to represent the really, really strong shows here in Australia. What better way to start this journey than with a respected broadcaster who has no time for the ordinary – one of the core values ââof Ranieri & Co.
âWe look forward to continuing to empower creators to build audiences, generate income, and most importantly, create content that genuinely interests audiences. We also look forward to what we will accomplish together. “
